Job summary

Ecology Energy Corporation in Barangka, Marikina is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee the operation of all accounting systems, ensure timely posting, and maintain financial reporting integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and knowledge of BIR processes; you will review entries, prepare monthly/quarterly reports, and coordinate with partners and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in the food industry is an advantage.
• CPA (advantage) but not required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounting and supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end accounting cycle.
• Taxation knowledge, BIR tax return filing, and BIR LOA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation of all accounting systems and records.
• Checks daily encoding and posting of eBT transactions of all departments.
• Assist in development and maintenance of financial reporting system to ensure integrity of finances based on sound accounting procedures and control.
• Resolves issues raised by our outside partners (supplier, customers and government agencies).
• Ensures correct counting journal entries and information encoded in the eBT system.
• Electronic filing and payment of BIR returns.
• General and subsidiary ledgers analysis.
• Reconciliation of asset and liabilities accounts.
• Expense analysis i.e. accruals and prepayment of lapsing schedule.
• Submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports on deadlines.
• Review of accounting entries before approval.
• Review monthly reports of expenses per branch.
• Review Monthly P&L of each station.
• Responsible for all Government Mandated Benefits and BIR documentation.

• Preferably knowledgeable in Taxation, BIR tax return filing, and handling BIR LOA (not required but an advantage).

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
