Job summary

Business Class in Cebu, Philippines is seeking a GDS Expert to join our travel solutions team. You will operate Sabre, Apollo, and Amadeus to book flights and related services, ensuring accuracy and high service levels.

The role requires strong English communication, on-site availability in Cebu, and flexibility for day or mid shifts including Philippine holidays. Training and collaboration with a dynamic team await.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of solid experience using GDS platforms (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus).
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Willing to work onsite in Cebu, PH.
• Flexible to work on Day shift or Mid Shift and selected Philippine Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate GDS platforms to book and manage flights and related services.
• Generate and verify bookings, changes, and other transactions with accuracy.
• Support travel agents and resolve booking inquiries and issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and data security standards.
• Contribute to improving travel products using GDS capabilities.

Join our team as a GDS Expert and play a key role in delivering top-tier service to our clients.

GDS Operations Management:

• Manage and operate GDS platforms to book flights and other travel-related services.

• Ensure accuracy in all bookings, changes, and other transactions processed through the GDS.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to GDS flight operations.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Generate reports on booking patterns, cancellations, and other key metrics to support business decisions.

• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Customer Service:

• Assist travel agents with booking inquiries, special requests, and other customer service-related issues.

• Handle escalations and complex booking situations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Resolve any booking errors or discrepancies in a timely manner.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure that all GDS transactions comply with industry regulations, company policies, and data security standards.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and company information.

Innovation and Strategy:

• Contribute to the development of new travel products and services by leveraging GDS capabilities.

• Provide input on strategic decisions related to GDS system usage and travel services offered by the company.

• Explore and implement new technologies or features that enhance the company's competitive advantage in the travel industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2 years or more of solid experience in using GDS platforms (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, etc) - Flight searching for Business Class Tickets

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Schedule Availability: Flexible to work on a Dayshift or Mid Shift and selected Philippine Holidays.

• Willing to work Onsite - Cebu PH.
