Job summary

EY is seeking a Consulting Support Services Senior Consultant to help drive efficient engagement management across regions. You will coordinate project activities, manage information flows and support economics-related tasks with the engagement team.

Qualifications

• 3.5 to 5 years general business experience with exposure to international work environment would be an advantage.
• IT Skills: MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Power BI, Power Apps) and data visualization tools.
• AI fluent with awareness of AI strengths and limitations, responsible use and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Enhance service delivery by ensuring deadlines are met and proactive coordination/communication.
• Support engagement team by coordinating, supporting or performing tasks that lead to efficient engagement management.
• Assist engagements with engagement economics (hours/budgets/estimates to complete, fees, billings, WIPs); collaborate with FMA.
• Act as a central point of contact for the assigned engagement(s).
• Function as knowledge manager; manage databases and/or websites.
• Coordinate multi-location engagement and communication, reporting variances.
• Interface with engagement personnel and anticipate client needs; leverage information.
• Communicate relevant client information to account teams via cross-service newsletters.
• Conduct market research and provide actionable insights; explore AI-enabled improvements to efficiency.

Consulting Support Services - Senior Consultant

The opportunity

CSS role enables Consulting Engagement team’s efficiency and delivery through the key project management and coordination activities.

We support end-to-end engagement lifecycle and project management activities that are essential to every engagement, region and competencies. We help in project coordination & management, financial analysis, engagement compliance & governance requirements across industries and countries.

Your Key Responsibilities

• CSS consultants enhance service delivery by ensuring that deadlines are met, the project is efficiently managed, and there is proactive coordination /communication
• Provide appropriate support to engagement team by coordinating, supporting or performing tasks that lead to efficient and effective engagement management, from initiation to post-engagement feedback/debrief activities
• Assist engagements with engagement economics matters (e.g., hours/ budgets/ estimates to complete, fees, billings, Work in process-WIPs); collaborate with Financial Management Associate (FMA)
• Act as a central point of contact for the assigned engagement(s)
• Function as knowledge manager for the engagement team; manage databases and/or websites
• Play active role in multi-location engagement coordination and communication, including reporting/remediating unforeseen situations and plan variances
• Interface regularly with engagement personnel, develop strong working relationships and leverage information gained to anticipate client needs
• Be knowledgeable about the services the engagement provides and utilize that knowledge to make suggestions and/or recommendations
• Capture, distribute and share knowledge and information through agreed upon channels to key stakeholders
• Communicate relevant client information to account teams via regular cross-service line Newsletters
• Assist with ad-hoc project work at the request of the account teams (both external and internal client focused)
• Perform regular checks and review the work of Staff / Associate resources to ensure quality of delivery
• Conduct comprehensive market research through various methodologies and provide thorough understanding and actionable insights
• Leverage on opportunities to optimize and improve efficiency while ensuring quality output, through automation and AI application

To qualify for the role you must have

• A Graduate, preferably B.Com/BBA/MBA/Economics Graduates
• 3.5 to 5 years general business experience with an exposure to international work environment would be an advantage
• IT Skills and experience using MS Office PC based system – Intermediate skills using MS Office 365 (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Power BI, Power Apps etc.), data visualization applications, and windows based PC
• AI fluent with awareness of AI strengths and limitations, responsible use and some practical application
• Nice-to-have skills: Business Analyst experience, Training/Certification in PMP, Lean Six Sigma, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master, ITILv4
