Job summary

EY is seeking a CSS role with senior project management and team-lead responsibilities in the Philippines. You will coordinate operations for multiple global clients, mentor a 15-20 person team, and drive growth by integrating services with client engagements.

The role requires a 10+ year track record in project management, strong English communications, and advanced MS Office skills. A Master’s degree is preferred and PMP/Prince2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations for multiple global clients/processes, including coordination, supervision, and development of a growing team.
• Grow CSS business through networks, integrating with client engagements and new services.
• Interface with engagement stakeholders and leverage information to anticipate client needs.
• Involve in people initiatives including recruiting and training professionals and act as a role model.
• Lead and collaborate on team and Consulting level initiatives.
• Manage and counsel a team span of 15-20, Staff, Senior and Assistant Manager.
• Team development and fostering EY values.
• Quality control, review of team output and adherence to SLAs.
• Facilitate establishment of new work from initiation to business as usual.
• Provide insights based on consulting solutions knowledge.
• Cultivate understanding of technology trends and AI applications for client goals.
• Report, prepare business reviews and dashboards for client teams including senior leadership.
• Support quality and risk management across Consulting practices.
• Summarize and conclude work with proper documentation standard.
• Prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure situations.

What is the CSS role?

CSS role enables Consulting Engagement team’s efficiency and delivery through the key project management and coordination activities. We support end-to-end engagement lifecycle and project management activities that are essential to every engagement, region and competency. We help in project coordination & management, financial analysis, engagement compliance & governance requirements across industries and countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operations for multiple global clients/processes, including coordination, supervision, and development of a growing team
• Grow CSS business through building networks, integrating with client engagements and developing new services
• Interface regularly with engagement stakeholders, develop strong working relationships and leverage information to anticipate client needs
• Involve in people initiatives including recruiting and training professionals and act as a role model
• Lead and collaborate on team and Consulting level initiatives
• Manage and counsel a team span of 15-20, Staff, Senior and Assistant Manager
• Team development (mentoring, counselling, team building), fostering the key values of EY
• Responsible for quality control, review of the team's work, and ensuring overall adherence to turnaround time, key performance indicators and service level agreement
• Facilitate establishment of new work from project initiation to ‘business as usual’
• Provide insightful recommendations based on consulting solutions knowledge
• Cultivate understanding of technology trends and AI applications to provide insights and support clients in achieving business goals
• Report, prepare business reviews and dashboards for client teams including senior leadership
• Support quality and risk management needs across Consulting practices
• Effectively summarize and conclude on work, applying appropriate documentation standards
• Prioritize and execute tasks in high‑pressure situations

Skills and attributes for success

• Any graduate, preferably Business Management, Business Administration, Economics or Master’s degree
• Good to have PMP, Prince2 or relevant certifications
• 10+ years of relevant industry or project management experience, with 1‑2 years in a mid‑level management role
• Excellent people skills, promotes teamwork, ability to lead and motivate a group of 15‑20 team members
• Strong organizational and management skills; able to delegate effectively and allocate work among team members
• Strong English communication – both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps, PowerBI, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail even when dealing with routine tasks
• Assertive, with strong influencing skills
• Prior experience working with global clientele preferred
• Confident to deal with senior level contacts, internally and externally
