Ernst & Young in Taguig is seeking a Consulting Support Services (CSS) Manager. You will oversee operations for multiple global clients and a growing team, coordinating engagement life cycles and governance across regions. Your role includes stakeholder liaison, people leadership and driving service delivery excellence.

You will mentor staff, drive recruiting and training, and ensure quality and timely delivery while expanding CSS offerings and client value across industries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management with 1-2 years in mid-level management
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; PMP or similar certification is a plus
• Experience coordinating global engagements and teams
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop a team of 15–20 members
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage operations for multiple global clients and supervise a growing team
• Grow CSS business by building networks and integrating with client engagements
• Interface with engagement stakeholders and anticipate client needs
• Lead people initiatives including recruiting and training professionals

Consulting Support Services – Manager

The opportunity

CSS role enables Consulting Engagement team’s efficiency and delivery through the key project management and coordination activities.
We support end-to-end engagement lifecycle and project management activities that are essential to every engagement, region and competencies. We help in project coordination & management, financial analysis, engagement compliance & governance requirements across industries and countries.

Your key roles and responsibilities

• Manage operations for multiple global clients / processes. Co-ordination, supervision, and development of a growing team
• Grow CSS business through building networks, integrating with client engagements and developing new services
• Interface regularly with engagement stakeholders, develop strong working relationships and leverage information gained to anticipate client needs
• Involve in people initiatives including recruiting and training professionals and act as a role model
• Lead and collaborate on team and Consulting level initiatives
• Manage and counsel team span of 15-20, Staff, Senior and Assistant Manager
• Team development (mentoring, counselling, team building), fostering the key values of EY
• Responsible for quality control, review of the team's work, and ensuring overall adherence to Turn Around Time, Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement
• Facilitating establishment of new work from project initiation to 'business as usual'
• Be insightful about the Consulting solutions and utilize that knowledge to make suggestions and/or recommendations
• Cultivate strong understanding of technology trends and AI applications to provide insights and applicable support for our clients and stakeholders in achieving their business goals
• Reporting, preparing Business Reviews and Dashboards for client team including senior leadership
• Support quality and risk management needs across Consulting practices
• Able to effectively summarize and conclude on work, applying appropriate documentation standards
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure situation

Skills and attributes for success

• Any Graduate, preferably Business Mgt./Business Admin/Economics or Master’s degree
• Good to have PMP, Prince 2 or relevant certifications
• Previous relevant Industry or project management experience- ideally at least 10+ years with 1-2 years’ experience in mid-level management role
• Excellent people skills, promotes teamwork, ability to lead and motivate a group of 15-20 team members
• Very strong organizational and management skills; ability to delegate effectively and allocate work amongst team members
• Strong English communication - both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft suite (Excel, power point presentation, Power Apps/ PowerBI etc.)
• Strong attention to detail even when dealing with routine tasks
• Assertive, with strong influencing skills
• Prior experience working with Global clientele preferred
• Confident to deal with senior level contacts, internally and externally
