Job summary

ITC Labs in the Philippines seeks a GC-MS / LC-MS Laboratory Analyst to perform analyses of food, beverage, and raw materials using GC-MS/LC-MS/MS.

You will prepare samples (QuEChERS, SPE), operate and calibrate instruments, and review chromatograms to ensure data integrity in a NABL-accredited lab environment.

Qualifications

• NABL, ISO/IEC 17025 compliant laboratory environment.
• Experience with GC-MS and LC-MS/MS preferred.
• Knowledge of method validation and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform GC-MS/GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/LC-MS/MS analysis of food, beverage, and raw material samples.
• Prepare samples using QuEChERS, SPE, extraction, filtration, clean-up, and derivatization.
• Analyze residues and other chemical parameters; review chromatograms and calibration curves.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Ensure compliance with NABL, ISO/IEC 17025, SOPs and lab quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GC-MS/GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/LC-MS/MS analysis of food, beverage, and raw material samples.
• Prepare samples using QuEChERS, SPE, extraction, filtration, clean-up, and derivatization techniques.
• Analyze pesticide residues, mycotoxins, veterinary drug residues, contaminants, additives, and other chemical parameters.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Review chromatograms, mass spectra, calibration curves, and analytical results.
• Ensure compliance with NABL, ISO/IEC 17025, SOPs, and laboratory quality systems.
• Hands-on experience with GC-MS and/or LC-MS/MS
• Strong understanding of chromatography and mass spectrometry principles
• Experience in food testing and residue analysis will be preferred
• Knowledge of method validation, data integrity, OOS/OOT investigations, and quality documentation
• Familiarity with NABL, ISO/IEC 17025, and FSSAI requirements
