Job summary

Professional Gear Inc. (Progear) is seeking an Assistant Production Planner – Garments to join its CABUYAO, Laguna site.

This full-time, on-site role supports the production planning team by preparing and updating schedules, coordinating with cutting, sewing and finishing, and monitoring work-in-progress to meet delivery timelines. You will track material availability, assist capacity planning, identify bottlenecks, and perform data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and scheduling within garments/manufacturing.
• Strong planning and analytical skills to organize workloads and anticipate production issues.
• Clear, professional communication for coordinating with internal teams and reporting to supervisors.
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, and finishing workflows.
• Proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools for scheduling and reporting.
• Ability to work on-site in CABUYAO, collaborate in a team, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant experience in production planning, apparel manufacturing, or industrial operations is an advantage; a degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update production schedules to align with delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with cutting, sewing, and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor work-in-progress and identify bottlenecks or delays.
• Track material availability and assist capacity planning.
• Perform data entry and maintenance of planning records; generate basic production reports.
