Job summary

Fadcol Limited in Metro Manila is seeking a Garments Art-Work Designer to manage daily art work for trendy fashion designs, aligning with an active lifestyle and growth.

You will conceptualize, develop, and execute designs from concept to completion, using Corel Draw, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and contribute to packaging and promo artwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in apparel design.
• Proficient in graphic design and fashion illustration.
• Experience with textile design and print/apparel techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design from concept to completion.
• Develop designs using trends, printing techniques, and execution.
• Stay updated on graphic arts developments and technologies.
• Coordinate with managers on sample development.
• Produce art with Corel Draw, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Create hand-drawn sketches and templates for guidance.
• Select materials by color, texture, and strength.
• Explore new methods for producing art.
• Apply visual elements to achieve desired effects.
• Support online promotion materials like banners and brochures.

Fadcol is looking for a Garments Art-Work Designer to manage our daily art work for a trendy fashion designs who can share our passion for leading an active lifestyle, growing personally as well as professionally, and creating game-changing products and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conceptualization and design solutions from concept to completion.
• Develop design by gathering new trends, printing techniques and execution.
• Keep abreast of recent development and technologies in the graphic arts field.
• Execute fashion assortment based on line plan.
• Strategically assess/research market competition in terms of upcoming or latest trend.
• Coordinate with the managers regarding technical aspects of sample development.
• Knowledge in graphic design programs and proficient in Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Highly innovative and creative individual with a flair and attitude towards fashion and design.
• Hand drawing for idea sketch, create template or models to guide their work.
• Select which materials to use on the basis of color, texture, strength, and other qualities.
• Develop creative ideas or new methods for making art.
• Use visual elements, such as composition, color, space, and perspective to produce desired artistic effects.
• Online promotion, event page, banner, brochure, leaflet and etc.
• Design of Package, label, manual, box, and the like.
• Trend Research.
• Analyze fashion trends.
• Produce concepts and develop patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Apparel/Textile design or equivalent experience in the apparel industry.
• 3+ year’s professional experience in Textile Design, preferably in different types of apparel.
• Strong knowledge of performance fabric & apparel printing methods.
• Excellent self-leadership skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong detail orientation, project management, and prioritization skills.
• Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.
