Job summary

Manila Embroidery Gold Inc. is seeking a Garment Sample Technician to construct and refine garment samples, ensuring accurate fit, construction, and quality before production.

This role connects design, patternmaking, and production by turning patterns and tech packs into high-quality prototype garments. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience, advanced sewing skills, and a solid understanding of fabric behavior, pattern success, and finishing techniques.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in garment sampling or related role.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial sewing machines experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct/mockup/sew first samples and development prototypes.
• Interpret technical sketches, measurements, and construction details.
• Identify and correct fit and construction issues during sample development.
• Assist in fittings and implement revisions.
• Collaborate with designers, patternmakers, and garment technicians.
• Recommend sewing techniques to improve durability and finishing.
• Ensure samples meet brand quality standards.
• Maintain sample documentation and measurement records.
• Prepare pre-production samples for factory reference.
