Job summary

Gingersnaps Philippines is seeking a Garment Merchandiser in Manila to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of apparel orders. You will coordinate development, costing, material sourcing, and factory scheduling to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include liaising with international and domestic clients, securing approvals for fabrics and trims, negotiating with suppliers, and managing the TNA calendar to meet deadlines while coordinating QA inspections and export documentation.

Job description

A Garment Merchandiser serves as the critical link between buyers and production teams. They oversee the entire lifecycle of an apparel order—from initial product development, costing, and material sourcing to factory scheduling, quality assurance, and final shipment delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for international or domestic clients. Clarify order specifications (design, quantities, pricing) and maintain detailed internal order sheets. Coordinate sample development (proto, pre-production, and size sets) and secure buyer approvals for fabric, colors, lab dips, and trims.
• Negotiate costs with vendors, source raw materials (fabrics, accessories), and raise purchase orders (POs) while staying within the allocated budget.
• Create and strictly manage the Time and Action (TNA) calendar to ensure all production stages happen on schedule. Proactively solve supply chain delays.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team for inline and final inspections. Oversee export documentation, packaging, and coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.
