We engage with authorities and armed forces on all sides, often confidentially, pressing for access to detainees to improve their living conditions and urging compliance with international humanitarian law to protect non‑combatants, including from digital threats.

  • Produces specific appeals, funding proposals, briefing documents and reports that meet donor requirements and support donor engagement plans.
  • Keeps available and up‑to‑date financial and non‑financial information on assigned contexts or thematic or other files, and regularly keeps track of pertinent ICRC activities and humanitarian and political developments. Serves as the focal point and provides advice or other input on these files, as needed.
  • Sources information from internal reporting tools, platforms and coordinates content production with subject‑matter experts at headquarters and/or in delegations. Drafts, edits and proofreads fundraising content assets to ensure adherence to institutional frameworks, policies and editing guidelines.
