Job summary

Citco Group Limited in Makati, Philippines is seeking a senior Fund Accounting professional to join our Institutional Services team. You will lead NAV production, perform shadow accounting, and oversee onboarding of new clients while driving efficiency and strong controls.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage staff, and ensure high SLA compliance across the trade life cycle, including booking, reconciliation, pricing, and reporting, with a focus on private equity fund

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a professional designation.
• 8+ years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably in Fund Accounting/Operations.
• 4+ years managing staff.
• Hands-on across trade life cycle: booking, reconciliation, pricing, accounting and reporting.
• In-depth understanding of SPV structures and fund investments.

Responsibilities

As a core member of the FUND OF FUNDS Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for our complex client base.

Your Role

• You will perform administration, shadow accounting, bookkeeping and other services pursuant to administration agreements for a portfolio of institutional clients.
• You will apply hands‑on experience across the entire trade life cycle, including trade booking, reconciliation, pricing, accounting and reporting.
• You will review and sign off Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports.
• You will build relationships and work closely with Citco internal teams, including Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Relationship Management and Fund Accounting teams.
• You will plan, schedule and manage the daily workflows for all client deliverables within the team.
• You will effectively monitor deliverables to ensure high SLA compliance within established accuracy standards.
• You will ensure adherence to all internal and external standard procedures and best practices.
• You will address and/or escape all material issues affecting the NAV production process or the overall client relationship to the Vice President or Senior Vice President in a detailed and timely manner.
• You will review administrative and accounting procedures and recommend solutions that support a more efficient NAV production process.
• You will lead and take ownership of intra-office migrations and new client onboarding.
• You will drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies while maintaining appropriate controls.
• You will maintain standard operating procedures and ensure they are updated in a timely manner.
• You will review operating processes to enhance efficiency, increase automation and improve controls.
• You will liaise closely with the Supervisor to identify and implement on-the-job training initiatives for team members and manage team-related responsibilities, including vacation management and performance appraisals.
• You will ensure a high standard of training and competence across the team, with succession plans in place and a strong focus on career development.
• You will provide input and feedback to Senior Account Managers regarding employees’ ongoing performance, development and performance appraisals.

About You

• You have a Bachelor or master level degree in accounting, finance, economics or professional accounting designation
• You have 8+ years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably with exposure to Product Control, Operations or Fund Accounting environments
• You have 4 years’ experience managing staff
• You have hands‑on experience across the entire trade life cycle, including trade booking, reconciliation, pricing, accounting and reporting.
• You understand special purpose vehicle (SPV) structures.
• You have in-depth experience across public and private market Fund structures and investments
• Passion for stakeholder management – clients, internal stakeholders and management team.
• You have an in-depth understanding of the transaction and investment cycle of private equity funds
• You have an excellent grasp of Citco’s various technology platforms or the ability to learn quickly.
• You have experience in managing significant client onboardings
• You have experience working with and overseeing operational teams across multiple offices.
• You understand private equity concepts such as commitments / capital calls / distributions
