Job summary

Citco is seeking a Fund Accountant in Manila to work with the Fund of Funds team, delivering administration, shadow accounting, and bookkeeping for institutional clients. You will calculate NAVs, reconcile cash and holdings, and maintain complete financial records.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, experience in financial services, comfort with shifting schedules, and strong Excel skills. You will collaborate with professionals to ensure accurate reporting and timely client

Responsibilities

• Perform administration, shadow accounting, bookkeeping and related services for institutional clients.
• Calculate Net Asset Values for assigned portfolios, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Maintain complete books and records including ledgers and sub-ledgers.
• Prepare cash and portfolio reconciliations and investigate differences.
• Process capital activity such as calls, distributions and transfers.
• Calculate administration, management and incentive fees as applicable.
• Prepare and review trial balances to support financial reporting.
• Ensure timely delivery of client deliverables per service-level agreements.

As a core member of the FUND OF FUNDS Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for our complex client base.

Your Role

• You will perform administration, shadow accounting, bookkeeping and other services pursuant to administration agreements for a portfolio of institutional clients.
• You will calculate Net Asset Values for assigned portfolios, including cash and position reconciliations, income and expense accruals, partner and shareholder allocations, and the preparation and review of trial balances.
• You will maintain complete and accurate books and records, including the general ledger and relevant sub-ledgers.
• You will prepare cash and portfolio reconciliations and investigate outstanding differences.
• You will calculate and record income and expense accruals.
• You will process capital activity, including capital calls, distributions and transfers.
• You will calculate administration fees, management fees and incentive fees in accordance with applicable agreements.
• You will prepare and review trial balances to support accurate financial reporting.
• You will manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables in accordance with applicable service-level agreements.
• You will maintain a current and thorough understanding of applicable best-practice policies and client-specific agreements.
• You will identify and elevate material issues affecting service delivery to the Supervisor in a timely manner.
• You will demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion in line with demanding client service agreements.
• You will support the training of new Fund Accountants and assist with the onboarding of new clients and/or funds.

About You

• You have a Bachelor or master level degree in accounting, finance, economics or professional accounting designation
• You have experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/or knowledge of fund accounting or hedge fund industry is a plus
• You are willing to work on shifting schedule
• You are proficient in MS Excel is an advantage
• You are highly organized and detail-oriented
• You are proactive, team-oriented and results-driven
• You have good interpersonal and client service skills
• Knowledge of special purpose vehicle (SPV) structures is an advantage.
• Knowledge of private equity concepts, including commitments, capital calls and distributions.
