Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a Supervisor to lead NAV calculations for hedge funds and supervise staff to meet service level agreements. You will coordinate with senior accountants, manage timelines, and ensure accurate financial reporting for complex clients in a hybrid work setup in the Philippines.

You will build relationships with investors, managers and auditors, provide training, and drive process improvements across the NAV production workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance/business or pursuing a professional accounting qualification.
• 4+ years in financial services with high-volume operations or hedge funds is an advantage.
• Experience supervising staff for 2+ years.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Calculate NAV for a portfolio of hedge funds and supervise staff within an Account.
• Prepare NAV calculations, financial statements and reports within deadlines.
• Coordinate with AVP and senior fund accountants to manage timelines and SLA deliverables.
• Monitor timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly outputs and escalate issues.
• Develop relationships with investors, managers, banks and auditors; support year-end audits.

Position Overview

Reporting to a Manager, the Supervisor will manage staff and ensure our daily deliverables are met with Hedge Fund clients and other Citco Offices per Service Level Agreements. Our clients demand the highest standards of execution and your role will be key in achieving this by maintaining a focus on training and development of staff, work flow processes and control improvements.

Your Role:

• Your role will encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex hedge funds. Assisting with the supervision of (Senior)/fund accountants and working closely with the Assistant Vice President, your responsibilities will include;
• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds;
• Preparation of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports for larger, complex clients, or as required, within deadlines;
• Assisting Assistant Vice President in supervising staff within an “Account”, reviewing work performed by staff in the Account;
• Working closely with the Senior Fund Accountants /Fund Accountants to manage timelines, workflows and deliverables within agreed SLA’s;
• Assisting Assistant Vice President in meeting client expectations by monitoring timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables;
• Escalating all material issues effecting the NAV production process to the Assistant Vice President in a timely manner;
• Monitoring progress of Senior Fund Accountants /Fund Accountants to identify areas for additional training & development;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers and auditors and other fund participants;
• Building relationships & working closely with investor relations group and liaising with other departments within Citco as required;
• Training & Coaching staff;
• Meeting expectations of clients & fund participants, adhering to deadlines;
• Positioning one-self to be the first escalation point for internal queries;
• Assisting Assistant Vice President to coordinate the Year End process with respect to audit timelines, Financial Statement Preparation, Regulatory filings, Tax services etc.;
• Assist the Assistant Vice President where required & become involved in special projects as needed (e.g. conversions etc.);

About You:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry is an advantage
• Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 2+ years.
• Strong business acumen.
• Strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills
• Good client/ business relationship management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc.)
• Amenable to working in our Makati (OneAyala Corporate Center) or Alabang (Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City).
• Amenable to working in a Hybrid work arrangement (required to work onsite for 2-3 days per week).
• Amenable to working in shifting schedules (AM Shift: 11AM onwards and/or Mid shift: 1PM onwards).
