Job summary

MA Financial Group is seeking an experienced investment operations specialist to join its asset management division in Taguig on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on settlements, reporting, and middle-office controls within a global platform.

You will prepare timely reports, monitor cash positions, and collaborate with fund accountants, custodians, and investment teams to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. The position offers growth opportunities within a leading alternative asset manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in investment operations.
• Experience preparing and validating operational data across settlements and middle office processes.
• Ability to investigate and resolve settlement and reconciliation exceptions with counterparties/custodians.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate, timely operational reports covering settlements, cash positions, portfolios, and exceptions.
• Monitor key operational metrics, identify control exceptions, and report service provider performance and outstanding actions.
• Support investor, regulatory, compliance, audit, and management reporting by providing accurate operational data and documentation.
• Ensure settlement activities, FX hedging, and collateral management are processed accurately while maintaining strong operational controls.
• Collaborate with investment teams, fund accountants, custodians, and service providers to resolve operational queries and improve reporting processes.
• Support operational improvement initiatives, including implementing new controls, documenting procedures, and contributing to data migration and system enhancement projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in investment operations, with a strong background in settlements and operational controls.
• Experience preparing and validating operational data, with a solid understanding of the investment lifecycle and middle office processes.
• Ability to investigate and resolve settlement and reconciliation exceptions by working closely with counterparties and custodians.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of multi-asset funds (fixed income and credit preferred); experience with WSO or fund accounting is advantageous.
• Demonstrated understanding of risk frameworks and a commitment to maintaining operational accuracy and compliance.
