Job summary

Alter Domus Philippines seeks a seasoned team leader to manage a client portfolio and drive growth through coaching and strong organizational skills. You will guide accounting controllers, review work, and act as the final point of contact for accounts, ensuring accurate financial monitoring and client invoicing.

You will coordinate with auditors, law firms, and banks while contributing to internal projects. 6-8 years in asset management and IFRS knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in asset management, preferably in fund houses, fund administrators or Big 4.
• Strong understanding of IFRS is highly valued.
• Excellent Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to meet client needs, organizing tasks and coaching team members.
• Guide accounting controllers and senior accounting controllers, acting as final reviewer.
• Serve as central point of contact for accounts, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
• Ensure all operational aspects of accounts and financial monitoring, including invoicing.
• Coordinate and validate all work delivered by the team.
• Manage relationships with auditors, law firms, banks and other service providers.
• Contribute to internal projects such as product development and organizational improvements.

Job description

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will lead the team to achieve and meet their needs. Specific responsibilities include the following:

• As the team leader, you will use experience you have acquired in the past as well as excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, the ability to prioritize tasks, and strong personal character to help your team perform and grow. Your team will benefit from your good listening skills, tailored coaching, and planning;
• You will guide your accounting controller and senior accounting controller in completing their work, and by extension acting as the final level of review;
• As the central point of contact for your accounts, capable of identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, you will be able to accurately measure potential risks and business expansion, and, therefore you will be able to offer suitable solutions to the client and satisfy their overall needs;
• You will guarantee all operational aspects of the account and you will be responsible for the financial monitoring of the client portfolio (including client invoicing);
• You will be in charge of the coordination and validation of all work delivered by the team;
• You will manage the relationships with other service providers in the industry, including auditors, law firms, and banks;
• You will actively be involved in internal projects (e.g. product development, organizational improvements, and technical improvements).

YOUR PROFILE:

• 6-8 years of experience working in asset management (preferably in fund houses, fund administrators or the Big 4 etc.) will be considered an asset;
• Have a strong overview and understanding of IFRS will be considered an asset;
• You have very good knowledge of excel and word;
• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Happy to work as part of an international team;
• You have experience in leading teams/others;
• A strong interest to learn and develop a strong career in fund administration in Philippines and other international offices.
