Job summary

Opus Fund Services in Manila is seeking a Financial Reporting professional to prepare high-quality financial statements for investment funds under US GAAP and IFRS, working with clients, auditors, and internal teams to resolve queries and deliver accurate reporting. Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience preparing financial statements for investment funds (mutual, hedge and private equity funds).
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP; experience with IFRS and FRS 102 is a plus.
• Solid understanding of fund structures and the fund administration industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) from a recognized accounting body.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare draft financial statements under US GAAP or IFRS for low and medium complexity funds.
• Coordinate/communicate with various departments within the company.
• Outside of prime audit season, the role will focus on preparing for year end – validating data, developing our tools and working with colleagues to improve our product.
