Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Fund Accounting Team Leader to oversee daily NAV production and validation, enforce controls, and resolve complex breaks while coaching new joiners in a global operations setting.

You will ensure accurate accounting records, partner with supervisors, and deliver high-quality service to clients across diverse investment products. Strong English communication and a detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
• Proven attention to detail with controlled processing and documentation.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root-cause investigation of breaks.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication; client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting and securities records by following defined control procedures.
• Produce and validate daily NAVs with timeliness and quality checks; escalate issues when needed.
• Reconcile positions and transactions across data sources.
• Validate asset pricing and investigate significant movements using benchmarks.
• Process and review trading activity, income and expenses for accurate period valuations.
• Investigate validation breaks and resolve exceptions beyond tolerance levels.
• Prepare portfolio support files in line with internal control checklists and sign-off requirements.
• Document unusual items with supporting evidence (dividends, price movements, gains/losses).
• Analyze fund performance and valuation outputs before finalization.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls; contribute to procedures and training.
• Train and support new hires to ensure consistent execution and quality.
