Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Fund Accounting Lead to manage the accounting operations of private equity funds, ensuring NAV accuracy, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting while driving process improvements.

You will lead and develop the accounting team, collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, and implement streamlined workflows and automation to enhance service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting or fund administration.
• Strong knowledge of NAV, fund reconciliations, capital activity, and financial reporting.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting activities, including NAV oversight, reconciliations, financial reporting, and close processes.
• Review private equity transactions such as capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and carried interest calculations.
• Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing streamlined workflows and automation.
• Ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial reports while maintaining high quality standards and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, monitor performance, and support onboarding and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to address operational requirements and continuously improve service delivery.
