Our Clients seeks a Fund Accounting Lead to oversee the accounting operations of private equity funds, ensuring accurate records and investor allocations, while driving efficiency and high-quality reporting. You will lead a team, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients to improve service delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in fund accounting, strong NAV knowledge, and leadership experience. CPA or CFA is advantageous; a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or fund administration.
• Strong knowledge of NAV, fund reconciliations, capital activity, and financial reporting.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting activities, including NAV oversight, reconciliations, financial reporting, and close processes.
• Review private equity transactions such as capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and carried interest calculations.
• Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing streamlined workflows and automation.
• Ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial reports while maintaining high quality standards and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, monitor performance, and support onboarding and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to address operational requirements and continuously improve service delivery.
