Job summary

Citco is seeking a Real Estate/Private Equity Fund Accountant to perform day-to-day accounting, analysis and preparation of financial statements. You will maintain ledgers, allocate limited and general partner interests, and ensure timely client deliverables while collaborating with management and auditors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, is pursuing CPA, and has 1+ years in real estate or private equity fund accounting, with strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA in progress preferred.
• 1+ years experience in real estate/private equity fund accounting.
• Experience reviewing ledgers and financial statements.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; strong English communication.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting and analysis; prepare and review ledgers.
• Maintain general and sub-ledgers; prepare financial statements and allocations.
• Prepare trial balances, work papers and analyses; process entries.
• Ensure client deliverables meet timing and quality standards.
• Interact with management, clients, auditors and legal counsel.
• Assist in fund structure implementation on accounting system.
