Connext Global Solutions is seeking a dedicated Fund Accountant to support a US-based client. The role involves monthly accounting, reviewing cash and position breaks, preparing expense schedules, and posting journal entries.

You will collaborate with the offshore reconciliation team to resolve breaks and assist with trustee reports and distribution letters. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in fund accounting, experience with Hedge Funds and Private Equity, NAV calculation, and strong Excel

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum four years of fund accounting experience.
• Experience with hedge funds or private equity is preferred.
• Solid regulatory knowledge and financial reporting skills.
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel for data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Review cash and position breaks within the accounting system.
• Prepare expense schedules for accurate financial reporting.
• Post journal entries to maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Collaborate with offshore reconciliation team to identify and resolve breaks.
• Review trustee reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare distribution letters and supporting packages for stakeholders.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed to support team objectives.
