Job summary

Connext Global Solutions is seeking a dedicated Fund Accountant to support a US-based client.Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, and distribution letters. Offshore collaboration and ad hoc projects are part of the role. Four years in fund accounting and experience with hedge funds or private equity are preferred.

The position offers engagement with regulatory standards and financial reporting, with growth opportunities in a dynamic outsourcing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in fund accounting.
• Experience with Hedge Funds and Private Equity is preferred.
• Experience with NAV calculation and preparation.
• Background in investment accounting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of tax, regulatory requirements and REIT maintenance.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel for data handling.

Responsibilities

• Review cash and position breaks in the accounting system.
• Prepare expense schedules for accurate financial reporting.
• Post journal entries to maintain up-to-date records.
• Collaborate with offshore reconciliation team to resolve breaks.
• Review trustee reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare distribution letters and support packages for stakeholders.
• Assist with ad hoc projects to support team objectives.
