Job summary

TOA Global Pty is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to support U.S.-based investment fund clients from the Philippines. You will independently manage general ledger accounting, capital calls and distributions, and monthly reconciliations while preparing investor reports and financial statements.

The role emphasizes ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and growth within private equity, venture capital, or hedge fund administration.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required; 4–10 years in audit, tax, or financial services advantageous.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and fund operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fund general ledgers and post accruals and journal entries.
• Prepare capital calls and distributions; reconcile accounts monthly.
• Produce monthly/quarterly financial statements, footnotes, and investor reports.
• Identify process improvements and expand technical expertise in alternative investments.

We are seeking a detail-driven, analytical Fund Accountant to support U.S.-based investment fund clients. You will independently manage general ledger accounting, prepare capital calls and distributions, execute monthly bank and account reconciliations, and compile comprehensive investor reports and financial statements.

Your Impact

• General Ledger & Journal Entries: Maintain fund general ledgers with absolute precision, independently preparing and posting accruals, expense reviews, and complex journal entries in accordance with current accounting principles.
• Capital Activity Management: Calculate and record capital calls and distributions, prepare detailed capital account roll forwards, and compile transparent reporting schedules for investors.
• Financial Reporting & Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and produce monthly/quarterly financial statements, footnotes, and supporting workpaper packages.
• Continuous Improvement: Take complete ownership of assigned portfolios, proactively identify process improvements, and expand technical expertise across alternative investment asset classes.

What You Bring

• The Experience: College Degree in Accounting (with 4 to 10 years of prior experience in audit, tax, or financial services representing a distinct advantage).
• Technical Mastery: Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations governing fund operations and financial services.
• Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities; a proactive, high-ownership mindset; and exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills.
