At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting industry.
As a US Intermediate Accountant (Accounting & Operations), you will play a pivotal role in maintaining full-cycle management company bookkeeping while gaining broad exposure across financial back-office operations, compliance, and fund support. Operating remotely during U.S. business hours, this role offers a structured 6-to-12-month transition path to take full ownership of day-to-day accounting from an outsourced administrator. Beyond core financial closes, you will support fund expense allocations, portfolio benchmarking, investor reporting obligations, and modern cloud platform management.
Full-Cycle Bookkeeping & Close: Own the primary bookkeeping cycle for the management company-handling accounts payable, credit card reviews, expense reconciliations, journal entries, bank reconciliations, monthly/quarterly financial packages, and annual Form 1099 compliance.
Structured Knowledge Transfer: Partner directly with the outgoing outsourced accounting administrator during a structured handoff (Months 1-12) to document workflows, master the chart of accounts, and build independent ownership of the monthly close.
Fund & Investor Operations: Track management company expenses allocated to and reimbursed by funds, ensure proper documentation, support portfolio benchmarking data collection, and assist with timely investor reporting.
Cloud Platform Administration: Administer and optimize cloud-based accounting and spend platforms (such as QuickBooks Online, Rillet, Bill.com, Ramp, etc.) while driving workflow automation initiatives.
Consolidations & Ad-Hoc Operations: Support management company consolidations for financial and tax reporting while executing special operational and process improvement projects.
The Experience: 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally supporting a U.S.-based client or company. Experience in investment management, fund administration, or professional services is a strong plus.
Technical Mastery: Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end/quarter-end close processes, management company consolidations, and advanced MS Excel skills. Familiarity with cloud platforms (QBO, Rillet, Bill.com, Ramp) is highly valued.
Operational Discipline: Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of taking complete ownership of recurring deliverables, monthly closes, and year-end filings with minimal oversight.
The Mindset: Proactive, inquisitive, and collaborative-comfortable asking clarifying questions early, flagging deadlines or financial trends, and documenting clear operational processes.
Communication Prowess: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, essential for direct, proactive collaboration across time zones with U.S.-based teams and external administrators.
We believe in rewarding high achievers with a work environment that fuels both professional growth and personal well-being.
Time for You: Enjoy 21 Total Annual Service Incentive Leaves, flexible to use for travel, emergencies, or anything you may need for your "Me time."
Tenure Recognition Program: Celebrate your milestones with us; on your 2nd year, choose between a cash reward or one free HMO dependent.
Remote Flexibility: Work 100% remotely from Clark or surrounding regions, fully integrated into a supportive, global back-office ecosystem.
Health & Security: Comprehensive HMO and Life Insurance coverage from day one.
Wealth & Growth: A competitive salary package (PHP 75k - 94k) paired with annual performance reviews, tenure recognition, and clear pathways to transition into higher-trust operational leadership roles.
Investment Industry Exposure: Advance your back-office financial skillset through hands-on exposure to U.S. investment management accounting, fund expense allocations, and modern fintech platforms.
