Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines seeks a capable Full Stack Developer to design, build, test, and maintain web services using Java EE and modern front-end frameworks. You will collaborate with agile teams, translate business needs into design specs, and contribute to code reviews and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or in progress in a technical field with programming foundations.
• 3–5 years of professional Full Stack Dev experience using Java EE.
• Experience with React.js/Angular/Vue.js frontend frameworks.

A Day in the Life:

• Attend daily team meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming development tasks.
• Design, develop, configure, test, debug, deploy, document, and maintain web service applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and application designs.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of software enhancements.
• Validate that solutions align approved architectural designs and defined business needs.
• Mentor junior developers through technical guidance and best-practice sharing.
• Continuously improve technical skills through training and professional development.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement development best practices.
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing project updates and status reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field (completed or currently in progress; undergraduates welcome), with foundational skills in programming, data analysis, systems analysis, or technical problem-solving.
• 3 - 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using any Java platforms (Java Enterprise Edition)
• Professional experience with at least one frontend framework such as React.js, Angular, Vue.js.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining web service applications.
• Experience creating and interpretating UML diagrams: use case, activity, and sequence diagrams.
• Experience applying common software design patterns to solve development problems.
• Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Experience with version control systems and collaboration tools.
• Experience writing unit tests using Junit, Mockito, or PowerMock
• Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON and YAML.
• Experience building or working with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience mentoring junior developers or providing technical guidance.
• Experience using API documentation and measuring tools such as Swagger, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience using code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or WebInspect.
• Experience working with SOAP-based web services.
