Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to join our Cebu City team. You will design, implement, and maintain web service applications using Java/Spring and modern frontend frameworks, while adhering to Agile practices and architectural standards.

You will translate business requirements into technical designs, review code, mentor junior developers, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies, ensuring robust and scalable software delivery across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies in a technical field with problem-solving skills.
• 3–5 years as a Full Stack Developer using Java platforms (Spring).
• Experience with at least one frontend framework (React.js, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining web services.
• Ability to interpret UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).
• Familiarity with design patterns and common software practices.
• Experience with IDEs Eclipse or IntelliJ and version control.
• Experience writing unit tests (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock).
• Experience with JSON and YAML data formats, and CI/CD pipelines.

A Day in the Life:

• Attend daily team meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming development tasks.
• Design, develop, configure, test, debug, deploy, document, and maintain web service applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and application designs.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of software enhancements.
• Validate that solutions align approved architectural designs and defined business needs.
• Mentor junior developers through technical guidance and best–practice sharing.
• Continuously improve technical skills through training and professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field ((completed or currently in progress; undergraduates welcome), with foundational skills in programming, data analysis, systems analysis, or technical problem‑solving.
• 3 – 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using any Java platforms (Spring Application Framework)
• Professional experience with at least one frontend framework such as React.js, Angular, Vue.js.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining web service applications.
• Experience creating and interpretating UML diagrams: use case, activity, and sequence diagrams.
• Experience applying common software design patterns to solve development problems.
• Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Experience with version control systems and collaboration tools.
• Experience writing unit tests using Junit, Mockito, or PowerMock
• Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON and YAML.
• Experience building or working with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience mentoring junior developers or providing technical guidance.
• Experience using API documentation and measuring tools such as Swagger, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience using code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or WebInspect.
