Veroa is hiring a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer to join our remote Philippines-based team. You will work across the stack—from database to UI—using a single TypeScript codebase to support deals from first contact to disbursement.

You will build backend features with NestJS, Prisma, and PostgreSQL; interfaces with Next.js/React for client and operations portals; and implement reliable Temporal workflows for onboarding and KYC processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional web app development experience.
• Strong TypeScript expertise and good Node.js backend experience.
• Solid React and Next.js skills with REST API design.
• Experience with Git, PR reviews, and testing.
• Clear written English communication for tickets and PRs.

Responsabilités

Your Mission: What You’ll Do

As a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer, you will drive key initiatives, solve complex challenges, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help our clients scale and succeed.

• Build features across the platform, from database to screen, in one TypeScript codebase that runs deals from first contact to disbursement.
• Build backend features in NestJS with Prisma and PostgreSQL: endpoints, services, data models, and migrations.
• Build screens in Next.js and React for the operations team and for the client, partner, and funder portals.
• Write Temporal workflows that run long processes, such as onboarding and KYC, reliably over days or weeks.
• Extend the external API and webhooks that banks and B2B platforms use to embed the platform, and connect services such as credit bureaus and sanctions screening.
• Write Jest tests, open small pull requests, and review code carefully. Tenant isolation, permissions, and audit logging are non-negotiable.
• Work with the stack: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Next.js, React, Tailwind, Temporal, BetterAuth, Jest, Docker, Kubernetes, and AI coding assistants. You don't need all of it on day one.
• Report to the CTO or technical lead and work directly with the founders, with a path to lead as the Philippine team grows.

Who You Are: What Makes You a Great Fit

Core Must-Haves

• Mid level: around 3-5 years of professional experience building web applications, with at least 2 years in TypeScript.
• Solid Node.js backend work: REST APIs, an ORM, and relational database design.
• Solid React. Next.js is a strong plus.
• Git, pull requests, and code review, and the habit of testing your own code.
• Clear written English for tickets and pull requests.
• Able to work remotely from the Philippines on Philippine time, Monday to Friday.

Bonus Points (Superpowers)

• Technical Exposure: NestJS, Prisma, or Temporal specifically.
• Domain Knowledge: Fintech, payments, or another regulated industry, or multi-tenant SaaS.
• AI Coding: Using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, while reading and testing what they produce.
