Job summary

ConnectOS is hiring a software engineer in Metro Manila to undertake analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of web solutions. You will work under limited guidance to uphold high-quality standards and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve production issues.

The role requires 3+ years of commercial Angular and PHP development experience, strong SQL skills, and a solid understanding of REST services, design patterns and data security. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or similar.
• At least 3 years of commercial Angular and PHP development experience.
• SQL and database design.
• Experience designing, developing and implementing Ajax-driven web solutions.
• REST Web Services experience.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, OOA and OOD.
• Experience with high-volume, low-latency data processing.
• Data security awareness and best practices.
• GIT source control proficiency.
• Understanding of accessibility and web standards.

Responsibilities

• Undertake analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to high-quality software development standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve production issues.
• Understand and implement application security fixes.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing for quality delivery.
