Job summary

Aon is seeking a seasoned software developer to join our team in the Philippines. You will develop products across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with analysts, developers, testers, DevOps and project managers, and contribute to design and architecture decisions.

You will implement digital solutions, stay current with trends, support production deployments, and promote AI-enabled improvements to delivery throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of developer experience in the technology industry.
• Proficiency in web development, APIs, databases and modern web UI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop Aon products by implementing, testing, debugging, analysing, reviewing and all other aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including analysts, developers, testers, devops and project managers by providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Contribute to the design & architecture of digital solutions and recommending the most suitable technologies and frameworks.
• Implement and integrate digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.
• Contribute to architecture, process and quality improvement discussions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in digital technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the organization's digital ecosystem.
• Support production deployments.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Advocate the usage of AI tools to improve software delivery throughput and quality.
