Job summary

Lucy Electric in the Philippines is seeking a Production Planning professional to oversee module assembly, monitor plan vs. actual performance, and manage manpower utilization. The role requires coordinating daily reporting, training contract operators, and ensuring quality and safety KPIs across the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/electrical background, 2+ years in manufacturing, and proven ERP/production planning experience to drive operation targets and dispatches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or similar.
• Minimum 2+ years in a similar manufacturing/industry role.
• Experience with production planning and execution in a large operation.
• ERP experience and ability to produce production declarations in the system.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily production for module assembly and monitor plan vs. actual.
• Monitor manpower requirements and output on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Prepare and monitor daily reports; track in-process defects and rejections.
• Provide training for new contract operators; ensure quality and safety KPIs.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

• Manufacturing of switchgear (RMU) – various types of products.
• Monitoring of the shop floor assembly activities as per the customer requirement / Specification to complete the assembly.
• Identification & monitoring of shop floor manpower as per the monthly operation plan. (Manpower planning as per monthly plan, manpower Utilisation, prod. efficiency)
• To monitor the Daily/weekly/monthly manpower as per production plan.
• Review with the operators feedback & corrective actions.
• Monitoring & conducting systems parameters of quality & safety as per target.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Daily production Planning for module assembly
• Daily Monitoring of plan Vs. Actual
• Daily / weekly/ monthly monitoring of manpower required & output.
• Preparing & Monitoring of daily report.
• Monitoring of in-process defects /rejection.
• Training of new contract operator - ongoing
• Monitoring for the quality & safety systems parameters (as per target)

JOB CONTEXT:

The position is responsible to:

• To achieve the daily/weekly/monthly target. (manufacturing & Dispatches)
• Monitoring & actions on KPI (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
• Daily reporting of the targets & corrective action plans.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:-

Minimum Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical
• Minimum 2+ years working experience in similar industry.
• Self-driven individual with business acumen.
• Skill manpower handling - white collar & blue collar.
• Knowledge of ERP/Equi. System- report in system / production declaration processing in the system.
• Experience in Production planning & execution at large industry.
