Job summary

Asurion in the Philippines (Laguna/Calamba) seeks a frontline test and equipment support technician to detect, contain, troubleshoot, repair, and verify simple-to-moderate equipment issues while maintaining safety, quality, and uptime.

You will perform PM and calibration, support engineering trials, escalate complex problems, and contribute to continuous improvement using AI-assisted troubleshooting and digital workflows.

Qualifications

• Technical/Vocational diploma or Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Tech, or related field.
• Typically 1–3 years of relevant test, equipment, maintenance, automation, or manufacturing technical-support experience.
• Ability to independently resolve routine and simple-to-moderate equipment issues.
• Strong safety, quality, compliance, and standards discipline.
• Experience using AI-assisted troubleshooting resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute frontline test and equipment support to detect, contain, troubleshoot, repair, and verify equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration support, and maintenance documentation.
• Detect and contain alarms and out-of-spec conditions using OCAP and escalation criteria.
• Escalate complex issues to B3 or Engineering with evidence and history.
• Use equipment-health dashboards and digital workflows to support troubleshooting.
• Provide shift communication and technical handover; coach less-experienced technicians.
