Information Professionals, Inc. is seeking a Java-focused software engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain the Wealth Portal and related systems. The role covers front-end and back-end development, API integration, and automated deployment practices.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, producing technical specs, and providing production support. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of experience are expected, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain the Wealth Portal, including reconciliation tools, special extract reports, ad hoc reports, and new system modules.
Perform front-end and back-end development, including interface programs, data extraction, and reconciliation tools.
Gather and analyze business requirements and prepare technical specification documents.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations.
Provide production support by monitoring system performance, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
Coordinate with internal development teams and external vendors for issue resolution and system deployments.
Participate in change management activities and software release processes.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with banking security and development standards.
Follow DevOps practices, including version control and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–3 years of relevant experience in Java Development, Application Development, or Software Engineering.
Experience in enterprise application development and maintenance.
Background in production support, troubleshooting, and system integration is an advantage.
