Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a MEMS Quality role to ensure front-end quality across wafer manufacturing and wafer probe processes. You will manage non-conformant lots, monitor frontline indicators, and collaborate with Operations, PQA, and Product Development to embed quality across activities.

The ideal candidate has a quality-focused mindset, an engineering/physics background, and 5+ years of experience in wafer fabrication.

Qualifications

• Quality oriented mindset.
• Graduate in engineering, physics, and science in general.
• Competence in wafer manufacturing and wafer probe is a plus.
• Green belt certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience or more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wafer manufacturing/wafer probe quality changes.
• Manage non-conformant lots in wafer fabrication and probing.
• Monitor front-end plant quality indicators.
• Resolve front-end issues affecting customers.
• Collaborate with Operations to embed quality in front-end processes.
• Coordinate with PQA and Product Development for best practices.
• Manage changes with HQ Quality in wafer fab.
• Contribute to Line Stress plan and review results.
• Support product/technology transfers between FABs.
• Coordinate customer audits and follow-up actions.

YOUR ROLE

Mission

• Ensure MEMS product quality through the state-of-the-art front-end manufacturing quality practices

Main Activities

• Overview the quality of the changes related to wafer manufacturing and wafer probe
• Manage the non-conform lots at wafer manufacturing and wafer probe
• Track the quality indicators of front-end plants
• Eradicate issues generate at front-end with focus on problems affecting customers
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure that solutions adopted in front-end production embed the quality requirements
• Collaborate with PQA and Product Development teams to ensure cross fertilization of lessons learnt/best practices
• Manage changes relative to wafer manufacturing and wafer probe in collaboration with HQ Quality
• Contribute to Line Stress plan definition and review results
• Support product/technology transfers among FABs
• Manage and support customer audits, including audit agenda coordination, preparation, follow‑up actions, and communication with customers

Your Skills & Experiences

Core skills required:

• Quality oriented mindset
• Graduate in engineering, physics, and scientific in general
• Competence in wafer manufacturing and wafer probe as a plus
• Green belt is a plus
• Years of experience 5 years and above
