YOON'S HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. seeks a Front Counter Crew / Prep Cook to handle front counter duties, assist in light cooking, and maintain kitchen hygiene. You will greet customers, take orders, and ensure quality service with Mandarin communication as part of daily operations.

The role requires 1+ year cooking experience in hawker/cafe settings and a WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate, with meals and accommodation provided during shifts.

Qualifications

• Speak Mandarin to communicate within the team and with customers.

We are a self-service cafe seeking a reliable Front Counter Crew / Prep Cook to prepare and serve food and drinks, manage front counter duties, and maintain kitchen cleanliness to ensure quality customer experience.

Job Summary

You will handle front counter tasks such as greeting customers, taking orders, cashiering, and perform light cooking and food preparation while maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take accurate orders at the front counter to ensure smooth service flow
• Operate the cashier efficiently to process payments and manage transactions
• Prepare, cook, present, and package menu items including local toast, meal sets, desserts, and drinks following company recipes and quality standards
• Set up and organize front counter, cooking stations, ingredients, and utensils before peak hours to ensure readiness for service
• Replenish ingredients regularly during service to maintain continuous food preparation without delays
• Maintain strict cleanliness of kitchen areas by washing equipment, clearing trash, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations consistently to ensure compliance and customer safety

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification
• Demonstrate basic cooking skills with at least 1 year of cooking experience in a hawker, food-court, stall, or cafe environment
• Speak Mandarin to communicate effectively within the team and with customers

• Working schedule: 6 days per week, 12pm to 9pm, Mondays to Saturdays and Public Holidays; rest on Sundays
