AUS CONSTRUCTION in the Philippines is seeking a skilled refrigeration technician to install, maintain, and repair systems across residential and industrial settings. You will read diagrams and blueprints to install piping, compressors, and wiring, and you will work on-site in Cainta, Rizal.

About the role
A refrigeration technician installs, maintains, and repairs refrigeration systems in various settings. This role requires the ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints to install, service, and repair components like compressors, pumps, and piping.
Key responsibilities
Install new refrigeration, including cutting and fitting piping, connecting electrical wiring, and setting up components according to technical plans
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently and to prevent future breakdowns
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, identify the root cause of malfunctions, and repair or replace defective parts, such as faulty components, valves, or pumps
Inspect systems for refrigerant leaks and perform necessary repairs to address them
Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of equipment and handling of refrigerants
Use diagnostic tools and instruments to test systems and their components to pinpoint and resolve problems
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repairs and parts used
Interact professionally with clients while on-site to provide information and excellent service
About you
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with a variety of refrigeration systems, from residential units to complex industrial systems
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations, such as EPA guidelines
Experience with tools and equipment used for soldering, piping, and electrical work
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
