Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Procurement Operations professional to manage indirect buying activities and ensure timely, policy-compliant purchase orders. You will work with SAP systems, coordinate with stakeholders, and support accounts payable on invoicing issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in Buying/Procurement/Supply Chain.
• Experience with SAP PE1 procurement modules.
• Knowledge of SAP PIR, vendor master, quota lists is a plus.
• Strong English written and verbal communication; French fluency.
• Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when needed.
• Able to understand technical and business concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create non-catalogue POs via SAP and other Vestas systems.
• Ensure POs comply with procurement policies and SLA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve PO issues quickly.
• Modify, cancel, or close POs as required.
• Support AP on invoice handling and escalated invoices.
• Provide high-quality service to vendors, facilities, HQ, and SSC.
• Reject transactions for non-compliance and document reasons.
• Test system enhancements to avoid production disruption.
• Report on open orders, confirmations, and delivery dates.
