Job summary

Risewave Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Fraud Investigator in the Philippines to conduct investigations, monitor transactions, and support compliance initiatives. You will analyze data, identify patterns, and document findings to mitigate fraud risks.

The role requires 2–3 years in fraud or financial crime prevention, strong English communication, and hands-on investigative skills. This is a full onsite position with rotational shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in fraud investigation, transaction monitoring, financial crime prevention, or compliance.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Hands-on experience investigating suspicious activities and transactions to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent behavior.
• Knowledge of fraud typologies, including identity theft, account takeover, and scams.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance reviews and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs and internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Analyze data and transaction records to identify unusual patterns, assess risks, and support compliance decisions.
• Monitor financial transactions to detect potential financial crimes, suspicious activities, and fraudulent behavior.
• Investigate suspicious activities and transactions to identify, prevent, and mitigate fraud risks.
• Identify and assess fraud typologies, including identity theft, account takeover, and scams.
• Gather and evaluate information to establish facts and support investigation outcomes.
• Prepare investigation findings and documentation in accordance with procedures and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen fraud prevention measures, improve processes, and maintain controls.
