Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager, FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting. You will supervise the Financial Analyst and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial excellence and support strategic objectives.

The role requires hands-on budgeting, variance analysis, and stakeholder engagement to optimize profitability and ensure robust financial insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred; CFA or CMA are advantageous.
• 7–8 years of relevant FP&A or corporate finance experience, with 2–3 years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and management reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with advanced analytical/presentation skills.
• Experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and BI tools.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking; excellent leadership and stakeholder management.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, multi-year planning, and rolling forecasts.
• Oversee preparation, consolidation, and presentation of monthly/quarterly/annual management reports.
• Supervise and coach the Financial Analyst to ensure accuracy and timely deliverables.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Partner with department heads to develop financial models and monitor KPIs.
• Oversee working capital analysis, capex evaluations, and cash flow optimization.
• Identify financial risks and cost optimization opportunities.
• Drive FP&A process improvements, automation, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and internal controls.
• Contribute to strategic finance projects and ad hoc analyses.
