Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Commerce required.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in a multinational with supervisory role or 5 years in management.
• Has supervised more than 10 personnel.
• Experience in Financial Reporting, Analysis or Corporate Consolidation.
• Experience in AP, AR, GA, Cost, etc.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to communicate and persuade at all levels.
• ERP knowledge in Oracle, MFGPro, SASFM; Hyperion FM advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the country or region Financial Reporting operations to meet KPI goals and initiate actions.
• Lead the monthly Balance Scorecard meetings and track actions to resolve issues.
• Regularly review BSC results, define project priorities and establish action plans.
• Maintain visibility of reporting guidelines with BU Finance and Global Finance teams.
• Provide monthly updates on BSC results and corresponding actions.
• Coordinate with Essilor Group Consolidation & Reporting for IFRS alignment.
• Ensure internal GSG/MCS controls over Consolidation, Reporting and General Accounting.
• Implement and support new procedures, MOC and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive Lean-based automation and process streamlining with the team.
• Supervise Consolidation & Reporting Specialists and Accountants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

FSSC Supervisor, General Accounting is responsible for leading the General Ledger team to support global financial close utilizing SAP, Oracle, AX / D365 and HFM applications. The role includes overseeing the preparation of financial statements submitted to the Global Finance/ Corporate Team, preparation of the legal entities financial statements submitted to Essilor /Luxottica Group, other operations financial reports and supplemental data generation of reports which are distributed on a timely basis to senior management and Essilor group, communicate and monitor corporate close deadlines, provide intercompany transaction guidance, performing financial validation tasks and coordinating post close adjustments. The role also includes maintaining the Standard Chart of Accounts and financial account mapping for all entities under scope to ensure alignment to Essilor/ Luxottica Reporting. The Primary responsibility includes assisting the Manager in leading optimization and acceleration efforts in all aspects of the financial and accounting close including timelines, usage of tools/application to provide required data, monitoring and compliance requirement. In addition, related documentation, communication, and training required, and establishment of governance processes for changes and capturing of cross-functional dependencies or barriers are also key responsibilities. Requires close coordination with the Transactional Services Team to ensure alignment from recording to reporting requirements of intercompany, receivables and payables accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and drive the country or region Financial Reporting operations to achieve all KPI goals and initiate necessary actions to meet and exceed various targets

• Lead the monthly Balance Scorecard meeting and review performance with the team, identify and track progress of agreed upon actions to resolve critical line issues

• Conduct regular meetings to review BSC result, define project priorities, and establish action plans to resolve issues/problems

• Maintain clear visibility and communication to BU Finance, Global Finance Analyst and Global Finance Director of financial reporting guidelines and requirements

• Provide monthly update of BSC result with corresponding actions particularly on metrics not meeting its target to the Manager

• Directly liaise with Essilor Group Consolidation & Reporting Group to ensure alignment to IFRS group reporting

• Ensure internal GSG/MCS controls are always achieved over Consolidation, Reporting and General Accounting activities

• Implement and support new procedures, Management of Change (MOC) and improvements whenever required

• Support the Continuous Improvement Specialist in driving the team on continuous improvement, automation and streamlining projects through Lean Concept

• Supervise Consolidation & Reporting Specialist and Accountants administratively, assign and delegate tasks/activities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or Commerce

• CPA preferably

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a multinational company in a supervisory capacity or minimum of 5 years' experience in management capacity

• Has managed/supervised more than 10 personnel

• Must have experience in Financial Reporting, Analysis or Corporate Consolidation

• Experienced in other facets of Accounting (AP, AR, GA, Cost, etc)

• Strong organizational skills

• Able to communicate and persuade at all levels

• Knowledgeable in ERP (Oracle, MFGPro, SASFM and Hyperion FM has an advantage)

• Proficient in the use of computer applications such as MS Office and excellent EXCEL skills
