Job summary

Huzzle is seeking a highly hands-on Founding Fintech Engineer to build a neobank-style platform from the ground up. You will architect core financial infrastructure and own critical modules with direct founders collaboration.

You will work on onboarding, KYC/KYB, accounts, payments, FX, ledgers, and money movement, shaping architecture and tech standards in a fast-growing, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with reliable, consistent data and integrity in financial tech.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build core financial infrastructure (accounts, ledgers, reconciliation).
• Design integrations with banking partners, card issuers, and payment rails.
• Develop provider-agnostic architecture for multiple banks.
• Create secure APIs and data models for transaction workflows.
• Implement asynchronous systems with queues, retries, and idempotency.
• Develop card issuing and multi-currency support.
• Establish engineering standards and lead architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with founders to translate product requirements into software.
• Own end-to-end features from design to production.
