Job summary

First Circle, a leading fintech company in Southeast Asia, is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to shape cloud strategy, security, and scalability. You will drive cloud deployments across Azure and DigitalOcean, build robust automation, and ensure compliant, secure infrastructure for fast-growing fintech services.

You will lead security-first initiatives, develop CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud spend while maintaining reliability of live workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering or DevOps.
• Experience with cloud security and compliance requirements.
• Strong automation and scripting skills across CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Azure and DigitalOcean environments.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud security posture and governance across platforms.
• Build and maintain cloud deployments for Azure and Digital Ocean.
• Architect scalable cloud and network infrastructure balancing current and future needs.
• Maintain developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines to improve velocity.

With your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our cloud environment across multiple providers. Responsibilities

• Adopt a Security First approach in everything you do; take ownership of Cloud Security
• Build, maintain and assist with the Cloud deployments for the company (Azure; Digital Ocean)
• Architect our Cloud and Network infrastructure, maintaining a good balance between current needs and future scaling requirements
• Maintain and build developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines
• Optimise our Cloud and Tooling spend, to ensure our funds are efficiently allocated and to maximise developer productivity
• Support the engineering team with deploying and maintaining our live workloads
