Job summary

BukuWarung is looking for a Founder's Office lead in the Philippines to uncover what Filipino merchants need, translate insights into product requirements, and drive launches with regulatory alignment. You will own multiple workstreams—merchant research, product scoping, and legal readiness—working across teams in-country and in Jakarta.

You will be in the field weekly, writing clear memos that inform decisions, and collaborating with counsel to navigate BSP regulations while shaping the next

Qualifications

• Must write clearly and concisely to drive decisions.
• Strong ability to size problems and build simple models.
• Primary research with real users in Filipino; fluent in Filipino and English.
• Experience turning learnings into product requirements and specs.
• Comfort working with regulatory and legal considerations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 8–10 merchant interviews weekly in Filipino and distill findings into actionable memos.
• Turn merchant insights into product requirements with in-country PM and Jakarta product group.
• Analyze data, build models, and document processes to enable decisions.
• Own regulatory clearance path with BSP, licenses, and data privacy requirements.
