Relm Insurance Ltd. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build, deploy, and scale AI-powered solutions across the business. You will bridge technology, operations and products to turn problems into practical AI implementations and shepherd them from concept to production.

In this hands-on role, you’ll work with Underwriting, Claims, Product and Operations to identify friction, design solutions, and ensure AI outputs are reliable, safe and scalable across Relm operations.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows or automation.
• Hands-on with modern AI tools and large language models.
• Ability to work with APIs, JSON and integrations, troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy AI agents, automations and workflows across Relm.

• Own solutions post-launch, monitor performance and debug issues.

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to help us build, deploy and scale AI-powered solutions across Relm.

This is a hands‑on role sitting between technology, operations and the business. You’ll work directly with teams across Underwriting, Claims, Product and Operations to identify real problems, turn them into practical AI solutions and take those solutions from idea through to production.

We’re not looking for someone who just wants to build demos. We want someone who likes shipping, testing, improving and owning what they build.

What You Will Do

• Build, test and deploy AI agents, automations and workflows across the business.
• Translate business problems into practical technical solutions using AI tools, APIs and integrations.
• Own solutions once they go live, monitoring performance, debugging issues and improving outputs.
• Work directly with teams to understand where AI can remove friction and improve how work gets done.
• Design testing and evaluation processes to ensure AI outputs are accurate, reliable and safe.
• Build appropriate human‑in‑the‑loop controls for higher‑risk workflows.
• Help develop reusable AI workflows and components that can scale across Relm.
• Stay close to new models, agent frameworks and AI tooling, testing what could add real value.
• Feed production learnings into Relm’s wider AI roadmap.

What You Bring To The Table

• Experience building and deploying AI‑powered workflows, agents or automation solutions.
• Strong hands‑on experience with modern AI tools and large language models.
• Confidence working with APIs, JSON, webhooks, integrations, logs and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work out why something isn’t behaving as expected.
• Experience testing AI outputs for accuracy, reliability and consistency.
• The ability to understand business problems and turn them into practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• A curious, experimental mindset and a genuine interest in building with AI.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership from discovery through to production.

Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated environment is a bonus, but not essential.
