Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate to support the Team Leader in receiving shipments, inspecting cargoes, and ensuring accurate inbound/outbound processing. You’ll assist in picking, packing, and dispatching stock from the staging area, while maintaining safe handling and 5S standards.

The role requires forklift and reach truck certification, English communication skills, and 1 year of relevant experience. Join a team that values initiative and works with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• At least College Level or vocational course graduate.
• With at least 1 year relevant working experience.
• With certificate on Forklift & Reach truck operation.
• Computer literacy is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• With good numeracy & attention to detail.
• With written skills in completing paperwork accurately.
• Ability to remember product codes of goods.
• Ability to pick the orders in the right way.
• At least can communicate in English both oral & written.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to take initiatives and has a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Team Leader in receiving, inspecting and checking incoming cargoes against invoices, delivery receipts, waybills and other pertinent receiving documents.
• Assist in accurate picking, checking, and dispatching of outgoing stocks from warehouse staging area and prepare appropriate dispatching documents thereof.
• Assist in proper handling, stacking and arranging cargoes into their designated steel racks or warehouse locations in compliance to good warehousing practices.
• Assist in planning delivery routes, sorting and tracking stored items and handling daily shipping & receiving activities.
• Responsible in preparing accurate WSR/Incoming or backload report and submit to Encoder for recording purposes.
• Assist in periodic and regular physical inventory counting or stock taking as may be required.
• Check condition of forklifts, reach trucks and pallet trucks and coordinate with Purchasing & Facilities Departments on regular maintenance schedules for the same.Operate reach truck / forklift in performing assigned tasks in items #3 above
• Help in maintaining work areas clean and orderly at all times, and ensure that 5S is implemented in working areas at all times.

Job description
