Job summary

PETNET Inc. is seeking a Forex Trader to grow the client portfolio in collaboration with the Forex team and to reach high net-worth individuals.

The role involves executing trades across foreign currencies, leveraging market price differences, and providing market insights to the Head Trader and Forex Department Head. The candidate will monitor FX levels, coordinate with the Back Office for smooth processing, stay informed on BSP regulations, and attend seminars to sharpen trading skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course with at least 1 year of banking experience.
• Certified Treasury Professional preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grow the client portfolio through collaboration with the Forex team and outreach to high net-worth individuals.
• Execute trades in foreign currencies by leveraging market price differences.
• Provide insights to the Head Trader and Forex Department Head on opportunities and market developments.
• Monitor foreign exchange levels and coordinate with the Forex Back Office for seamless transactions.
• Stay updated on BSP regulations to anticipate currency movements.
• Attend seminars to enhance trading skills and perform additional duties as assigned.

The Forex Trader is responsible for growing the client portfolio through collaboration with the Forex team and outreach to high net-worth individuals, executing trades in foreign currencies by leveraging market price differences, and providing insights to the Head Trader and Forex Department Head on trading opportunities and market developments. The trader monitors foreign exchange levels, coordinates with the Forex Back Office for seamless transaction processes, stays updated on market trends and BSP regulations to anticipate currency movements, attends seminars to enhance trading skills, and carries out additional duties as assigned by the Forex Department Head.

Job Specification:

• Education: Graduate of any 4-year course with at least 1 year of banking experience;
• Certification: Certified Treasury Professional preferred but not required."
• Working Setup: Hybrid, at least 5 times a month in the HQ located at Aboitiz Corporate Center, Gov. Manuel A. Cuenco Avenue Kasambagan, Cebu City; and
• Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 44 hours weekly.
