Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Foreign Exchange Trader in Cebu City to execute FX transactions, monitor markets, and support trading decisions. The role collaborates with the Head Trader, FX Department, and Back Office to ensure precise processing and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in banking, with FX/Treasury exposure and strong analytical, client-management, and communication skills to drive opportunities and maintain regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree graduate of any 4-year course.
At least 1 year of experience in the banking industry.
Experience in Foreign Exchange, Treasury, FX Trading, or related financial market functions is highly preferred.
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute foreign exchange transactions according to trading strategies and risk parameters.
Monitor currency rates, market trends, and economic developments.
Provide timely market updates and insights to the Head Trader.
Develop and manage assigned client portfolios through relationship management.
Generate new business opportunities through self-generated leads and referrals.
Coordinate with the Back Office to ensure accurate processing and settlement.
Ensure compliance with BSP regulations and internal policies.
Attend seminars and training to enhance trading knowledge.
