Job summary

BekaertDeslee Holding is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. You will manage domestic and international shipments, collaborate with brokers and providers, and optimize Incoterms and documentation for smooth supply chain flow.

The role requires a degree in Foreign Trade or related fields, plus experience with IMMEX/Annex 24, VAT-IEPS, and SAP ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Specialized training in Foreign Trade
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to foreign trade operations
• Experience with IMMEX, PROSEC, and Annex 24 programs
• Experience with VAT-IEPS Certification and Annex 30 compliance
• Minimum 2 years in foreign trade operations
• ERP systems experience, preferably SAP
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (60–70%)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and customs requirements.
• Manage domestic and international shipments by coordinating with customs brokers, logistics providers, carriers, suppliers, customers, and warehouse operations.
• Monitor Incoterms (EXW, FCA, etc.) and coordinate urgent/expedited shipments.
• Oversee preparation, review, and approval of customs documentation (pedimentos, CFDI, Carta Porte, origin certificates).
• Maintain accuracy of foreign trade information in Annex 24, invoices, tariff classifications, and records.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, IMMEX, Drawback, VUCEM, and related regulations.
• Coordinate review and approval of broker, carrier, and logistics invoices; control logistics costs.
• Prepare and monitor KPIs, shipment status, transit times, duties/taxes, and logistics performance metrics.
• Maintain complete foreign trade documentation and records for audits and regulatory needs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ISO 9001 related to foreign trade operations.

Job description

Coordinate and oversee the plant's import and export operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, customs, and administrative requirements while supporting supply chain continuity, operational efficiency, and adherence to current foreign trade regulations.

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules, cost objectives, and customs requirements.
• Manage domestic and international shipments by coordinating with customs brokers, logistics providers, carriers, suppliers, customers, and warehouse operations.
• Monitor international trade activities under various Incoterms (EXW, FCA, among others) and coordinate urgent and expedited shipments.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of customs documentation, including customs entries (pedimentos), COVE documents, commercial invoices (CFDI), Carta Porte, certificates of origin, and other documentation required for import and export operations.
• Maintain and oversee the accuracy of foreign trade information in Annex 24, including catalogs, invoices, tariff classifications, and customs records.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, the IMMEX Program, Drawback procedures, VUCEM requirements, and all applicable foreign trade regulations.
• Coordinate the review and approval of invoices from customs brokers, freight carriers, and logistics providers, while maintaining control over import and export logistics costs.
• Prepare and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), shipment status reports, transit times, duties and taxes, virtual operations, and logistics performance metrics.
• Maintain complete and accurate foreign trade documentation and customs records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and the maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System related to foreign trade operations.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, or a related field
• Specialized training and continuous education in Foreign Trade
• Knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations related to foreign trade operations
• Experience managing export promotion programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, and Annex 24
• Experience with VAT-IEPS Certification and Annex 30 compliance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Advanced Excel skills, including database management and Pivot Tables
• Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (60–70%), both written and spoken
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in foreign trade operations
