Job summary

Prifood Corporation in Laguna seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and recondition production machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and monitor spare parts to minimize downtime. The candidate should have 3 years of online maintenance, instrumentation and facility experience, be able to work in confined spaces, and be on-call when needed.

Experience with safety standards and GMP, plus the ability to work with minimal supervision, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years online maintenance, instrumentation and facility experiences.
• Three (3) years experience in lock out/tag out procedures (Preferred).
• Three (3) years in maintenance, turnaround and/or shutdown work experience (Preferred).
• Experience in developing analysis methods and performing troubleshooting and repairs (Preferred).
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills (Preferred).],,

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs all defective production machineries.
• Reconditions all defective machineries.
• Calibrates and repairs food manufacturing instrumentations and laboratory apparatus.
• Conducts preventive maintenance to prevent machine breakdown.
• Ensures that machine downtime is reduced to a minimum tolerance level.
• Implements efficient and cost-effective maintenance.
• Monitors stocks level of local and foreign machine spare parts.
• List down all machines spare parts needed for production repair.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new operators in the proper operation of production machineries.
• Responds promptly and urgently to matters that requires immediate actions and attention.
• Enforces consistently ISO approved process flow and procedures to maximize plant performance and minimize quality complaint.
• Attends and coordinates meetings.
• Initiate program through team briefing & monthly meeting: GMP, Personnel Hygiene and Plant Hygiene.
• Strictly observe ethical, environmental and engineering laws, guidelines and standards and to provide leadership in health, safety and environmental performance
