Job summary

San Miguel Foods seeks a seasoned Milling Operations Supervisor in Batangas to assist the Head Miller in planning, organizing, and scheduling milling activities. You will monitor processes to optimize extraction, yield, and efficiency while upholding QA standards.

You will oversee packing, ensure material availability, coordinate with Plant Engineering for maintenance, and lead a team to meet production goals while maintaining food safety and health standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least five years of extensive experience in flour milling or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Miller in planning, organizing, and scheduling milling operations.
• Monitor milling processes to ensure compliance with production, quality, and operational standards while optimizing extraction, yield, and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate wheat transfers and compliance of wheat blends and finished products with QA specifications.
• Oversee packing operations to ensure product quality, packaging accuracy, and availability of packaging materials.
• Coordinate maintenance requirements with Plant Engineering to support continuous mill operations.
• Supervises, develops, and motivates personnel to achieve operational goals and maintain succession readiness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards on food safety, quality, health, and safety.
